If I try to restore from the client I just get the 'busy' symbol ad infinitum and if I set up a backup schedule on the server it doesn't sync to the client. The client appears to log in to the server but I'm not convinced any communication is happening. ![]() Everything looks good except that backup fails leaving nothing in the log to say why! I've tried manual backups and a scheduled backup with the same result. I've renamed the old backup and left it on the server. Now QNAP has made a compatible iDrive client available and I've set that up. I decided to upgrade my NAS firmware to a Beta version (seemed like a good idea at the time) even though I knew it would kill my iDrive client but I continued periodically backing up to iDrive using the Perl scripts. I was using idrive successfully, backing up my QNAP NAS.
